Delete your account

Mirna — a private keepsake app for couples, by StayYoung Studio

There are two ways to delete your Mirna account and the personal data attached to it. You do not need to reinstall the app to do it.

1. In the app — immediate

Open Mirna and go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account. You will see exactly what is erased and what stays with your partner, you will be offered a full export of your archive first, and you confirm on a second screen. Deletion happens straight away.

2. By email — if you no longer have the app

Write to us from the email address on your Mirna account, with the subject Delete my account.

So that nobody can delete an account that is not theirs, we only act on a request sent from that address, and we may reply once to confirm it is you. We will delete the account and confirm back to you within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What stays, and why

Mirna is a space shared by two people, so almost everything in it was made by both of you. That means a memory is your partner's record of their own life as much as it is yours.

Memories you made together stay with your partner — with your name and your account removed from them. Your name does not appear anywhere in what is left.
When your partner also deletes their account, all of it is erased permanently — every entry, every photo, every voice memo. Nothing outlives you both.
If you were the last person in a shared space and you leave without deleting your account, that space is deleted automatically. Nobody can reach it, so it does not sit there.
An archive you exported is kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically — it is your own copy of your own data, so we do not destroy it at the moment you asked for it.

If there is specific content you would rather not leave behind, you can delete individual memories, photos and voice memos yourself in the app before you go. And if something needs to be removed for a reason this does not cover, write to us and we will look at it case by case.

If you only want to leave your partner

Deleting your account is not the same as unlinking, and you may want the other one.

Unlinking — Settings → Privacy & data → Unlink from your partner — leaves the shared space frozen rather than deleted. You both keep everything, read-only, and either of you can still export it. Your account, and your ability to start again with someone new, are untouched. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Take a copy first

Before you delete anything, Settings → Privacy & data → Export our archive builds a complete copy of your shared space — a readable web page, a machine-readable data file, and every photo and voice memo at full quality. It is best opened on a computer.

Mirna — çiftler için özel bir anı uygulaması, StayYoung Studio tarafından

Mirna hesabınızı ve ona bağlı kişisel verilerinizi silmenin iki yolu var. Bunun için uygulamayı yeniden kurmanıza gerek yok.

1. Uygulama içinden — anında

Mirna'yı açın ve Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve veriler → Hesabı sil yolunu izleyin. Neyin silineceğini ve partnerinizde neyin kalacağını tam olarak görürsünüz, önce arşivinizin eksiksiz bir kopyasını dışa aktarmanız önerilir ve ikinci bir ekranda onaylarsınız. Silme işlemi hemen gerçekleşir.

2. E-posta ile — uygulama artık kurulu değilse

Bize Mirna hesabınızdaki e-posta adresinden, konu satırı Hesabımı sil olacak şekilde yazın.

Kimsenin kendisine ait olmayan bir hesabı sildirememesi için yalnızca o adresten gelen talepleri işleme alırız ve sizin olduğunuzu doğrulamak için bir kez yanıt yazabiliriz. Hesabı sileriz ve 30 gün içinde — genellikle çok daha erken — size geri dönüş yaparız.

Neler kalır ve neden

Mirna iki kişinin paylaştığı bir alandır; içindeki hemen her şey ikiniz tarafından birlikte oluşturulmuştur. Bu da bir anının, sizin olduğu kadar partnerinizin de kendi hayatının kaydı olduğu anlamına gelir.

Birlikte oluşturduğunuz anılar partnerinizde kalır — adınız ve hesabınız bu kayıtlardan çıkarılarak. Geriye kalanların hiçbir yerinde adınız görünmez.
Partneriniz de hesabını sildiğinde her şey kalıcı olarak silinir — tüm kayıtlar, her fotoğraf, her sesli not. Hiçbir şey ikinizden de uzun yaşamaz.
Bir ortak alandaki son kişi sizseniz ve hesabınızı silmeden ayrılırsanız, o alan otomatik olarak silinir. Kimse ona ulaşamayacağı için orada öylece durmaz.
Dışa aktardığınız bir arşiv 30 gün saklanır ve ardından otomatik olarak silinir — bu sizin kendi verilerinizin kendi kopyanızdır, o yüzden tam da istediğiniz anda yok etmeyiz.

Geride bırakmak istemediğiniz belirli bir içerik varsa, ayrılmadan önce uygulamada tek tek anıları, fotoğrafları ve sesli notları kendiniz silebilirsiniz. Burada kapsanmayan bir nedenle bir şeyin kaldırılması gerekiyorsa bize yazın; durumu tek tek değerlendiririz.

Yalnızca partnerinizden ayrılmak istiyorsanız

Hesabınızı silmek, bağlantıyı kesmekle aynı şey değildir ve isteğiniz diğeri olabilir.

Bağlantıyı kesmek — Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve veriler → Bağlantıyı kes — ortak alanı silmez, dondurur. İkiniz de her şeyi salt okunur olarak korursunuz ve ikiniz de dışa aktarabilirsiniz. Hesabınız ve yeni biriyle yeniden başlama imkânınız etkilenmez. Hesabınızı silmek ise kalıcıdır ve geri alınamaz.

Önce bir kopya alın

Bir şey silmeden önce, Ayarlar → Gizlilik ve veriler → Arşivimizi dışa aktar ortak alanınızın eksiksiz bir kopyasını oluşturur: okunabilir bir web sayfası, makinelerin okuyabileceği bir veri dosyası ve tüm fotoğraflarınız ile sesli notlarınız, tam kalitede. En iyisi bilgisayarda açmaktır.
